Our History, Our Future

50 years ago, Holy Family University conferred its first Bachelor of Science in nursing degrees to five graduates of the class of 1973. Since then, nearly 6,000 nursing students have followed in their footsteps obtaining bachelors, masters, and doctorate degrees. What started as a small program in Holy Family Hall now encompasses a much larger footprint, extending to two campus locations - our growth over the years has been significant. 

We remain connected to our roots as an extension of the ministries of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, while looking intentionally toward the future, ensuring that we are holistically educating generations of caring, collaborative and innovative Holy Family Nurses to come.
